“BACH FAMILY”

This great family of German musicians has in JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH (1685-1750) its more illustrious member, and through a compilation of sonatas for violin and harpsichord we will see as the style evolves into the hands of his son CARL PHILIPP EMANUEL BACH (1714-1788). Although in our days the music of Carl Philipp Emanuel is not so well considered as the one of his father, at his time he was better known as "the greater Bach", and he represents the transition of Baroque to Classicism, through style galant, Sturm und Drang and the so-called empfindsamer Stil. The texts of "The little chronicle of Anna Magdalena Bach" show us the more human side of this renowned family.

“MOZART: TRIP TO PARIS 1777-1779”

What did this trip mean to the young Wolfgang? Wolfgang, 21 years old, goes to Salzburg in search of the lost paradise of childhood trips where everyone was naturally a friend of his and he was the natural friend of the world. But now Wolfgang is no longer a child prodigy offering a spectacle, but an adult claiming a situation. Through the letters we will learn the creative moment, as when passing through Mannheim is shocked to find one of the best orchestras in Europe. This is the first trip he made without his father, authoritarian and dominating person even by mail. He set off for Paris accompanied by his mother, who died during this time…
