Alba Roca - Isabel Fèlix

Duo Alba Roca & Isabel Fèlix was born in 2007 convinced to make chamber music from the end of baroque to the first romanticism with historical criteria. The use of original instruments or copies of them causes that the group opts for a world of sensitivity and timbrical colours, faithfully to the time of performed repertoire.

The programs start from the need for creating subtle plots which approach us to a small universe of the history of great composers. Through these compositions for violin and fortepiano or harpsichord personal situations are revealed, relations between parents and children, experiences that marked the pages of this repertoire.

We will revive through these works a way to understand the music that only have arrived to us by documents, letters, a music full of experiences of a time. The background and sensitivity of present musicians give us this music with more credibility than ever… the passion for lost sounds.
